Ringfeder and VBG continue to develop the world’s most sought after trailer coupling range with the introduction of the Type 202 AUS, a 50 mm automatic pin type coupling.
The Type 202 AUS supersedes the Type 101 AUS and is the result of incremental improvements that have been incorporated as a result of ongoing Ringfeder VBG research and development, and by input from infield operations from many locations, including Australia.
The Type 202 AUS incorporates some of the well proven features of the 101 AUS, including the rotating pin, the two handed operation and the encapsulated rubber isolation mounts.

RINGFEDER TYPE 202 AUS improvements include;
• The Release Handle is now made of steel rather than a cast material.
• The Secondary Locking Device has been improved and is now black in colour.
• The Alignment Slot in the drawbar has been widened to 18 mm and the edges of the Lifting Finger have been chamfered to enable easier coupling and uncoupling.
• The position of the Grease Nipple has been changed to allow easier servicing and improve internal lubrication.
• The Coupling Mouth Bore has been chamfered for easier coupling and uncoupling.
• Seals have been introduced into the Top Cap to prevent the ingress of dirt and dust.
